1. Who these terms are between
These terms govern your use of Musha (the "App"), and any associated website or service. They are an agreement between you (the "User") and Masimba Gangaidzo, trading as Veld Labs, operating from Harare, Zimbabwe ("we", "our"). By installing or using the App you accept these terms.
2. The App, what it is
Musha is a mixed-livestock and crops Android app distributed via Google Play, with a free tier (limited) and paid subscription tiers (unlocking more entities and AI features). The free tier runs entirely offline with no account.
The App stores farm data locally on your device. Farm data is never uploaded to our servers. Paid features require an account; only your email, account identifier, subscription state and per-tier usage counters are held on our infrastructure. See our Privacy policy for detail.
3. Subscriptions, purchases and refunds
Musha subscriptions are billed via Google Play's in-app billing system, in line with Google Play's subscription policies. All purchases and refunds are processed by Google; refund requests go through your Google account.
The price of each subscription tier is shown to you in-app before you confirm a purchase, and again on any future price change (Google Play surfaces the new price and requires your re-consent before the next renewal). You can review and cancel any active subscription at any time via Google Play app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. After expiry, Musha falls back to view-only mode: you keep access to existing data, but creating new entities or events is paused until you re-subscribe or drop into the Free tier's limits.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share account credentials. A paid subscription is for one user. We do not provide a way to enter a license key manually, specifically to prevent key sharing.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the AI gateway credentials, internal model prompts, or any other non-public material.
- Submit prompts to the AI feature that violate the acceptable-use policy of the underlying LLM provider you have selected (OpenAI, Google or Anthropic).
- Use the App for illegal purposes in your jurisdiction.
We continuously monitor for patterns consistent with credential sharing or abuse — for example, the same account appearing on many devices in disparate geographic regions within a short window. When a pattern is detected we may pause access and contact you for clarification before restoring access. We do not auto-terminate accounts on a single flag.
5. AI feature — disclaimer
The AI feature in Musha produces text generated by a large-language model. It is not a substitute for professional advice. Specifically, AI output is not veterinary, agronomic, financial, legal, or accounting advice.
You must independently verify any AI-generated suggestion before acting on it — particularly anything affecting animal health, medication dosing, crop treatment, financial decisions, or regulatory compliance. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, fitness for purpose, or safety of AI-generated content. You bear the risk of acting on it.
6. Your data, your responsibility
Farm data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for backing it up — Musha provides an encrypted backup export via the system share sheet, but you must remember to use it and store the passphrase securely. We cannot recover the passphrase if you lose it. We also recommend regular device backups via Google's built-in backup, which captures app data.
7. Service availability
The core App works fully offline. AI features and subscription validation require connectivity to our backend. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it. Scheduled maintenance and unscheduled outages will happen. We do not credit subscription time for short outages.
8. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. You may delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete account. If you cannot access the app for any reason, email the address in section 12 from the address you registered with and we will action the deletion within 30 days.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms (for example, the credential-sharing or abuse clauses in section 4), or if continued service would expose us to legal or security risk. We will give you a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue where practical.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for: indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages; loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunity; or damages arising from your reliance on AI-generated content. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the amount you have paid us for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim. If you are on the Free tier, that amount is zero.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted to this page and reflected in the Last updated date. Paid users will receive an email when terms materially change. Continued use of the App after the update constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction provide stronger rights, those laws apply.
